Angular Momentum of Switzerland & Manu Propria – Polyphemos Steampunk Watch

Swiss luxury watch brand Angular Momentum of Switzerland & Manu Propria dedicates their new experimental timepiece to Polyphemos, the gigantic one-eyed son of Poseidon and Thoosa in Greek mythology. Named after Polyphemos, this Steampunk Watch, entirely made of bronze and brass and a little stainless steel, brushed finish with polished edges and facettes, digital time display by revolving hour and minute disks, seen through the porthole sealed with sapphire crystal.

Its Bronze crown is fitted with luminous cabochon. This timepiece is equipped with a historical mechanical hand-winding movement. Case size is 46.00 x 22.00 mm. Secured with natural rubber strap with bronze locking fittings.

Polyphemos is a Kyklops in Greek mythology. He is the son of the god Poseidon and Thoosa. Polyphemos is a creature of strength, which broke the cardinal rule of hospitality in Ancient Greece. He lived in a cave on an island, and he had sheep. On the island also lived several other Kyklopes. Polyphemos appears in Homer's Odyssey.
