Wize & Ope was officially launched on January 2008. The brand reflects a certain vision of the world and advocates the openness towards artistic cultures different from its own. It is also the result of many trips, discoveries, and meetings of different people, and most of all, the understanding that "the world is rich by different cultures, and that it is great to be open to all of them".
Musis had an important role in the construction of WIZE & OPE. It is through music, and cultural mixes that the character named "WIZE" realized, for example, that the Authentic Hip Hop from Run DMC, could be mixed with Aerosmith Pop Rock, regardless of preconceived ideas. The song, "Walk This Way", which used to be on MTV in the 80's has set the beginning of that quest for WIZE & OPE. WIZE is a character that travels around the universe in order to discover the world, its history, and different cultures. While travelling, he changes appearance and blends in with the members of these communities and cultures. He then transforms, or adapts, and becomes "OPE". OPE comes from the word "Open" for "Open Minded".
Adventures of WIZE & OPE are being developed as comic books. Thesecomic books tell the stories of the adventures of WIZE during his many exciting experiences around the universe. Comic Books exist not only on paper, but are also being presented on the web. Also, "ArtToyz" of the figures are released each season based on the adventures of WIZE. These figures will be sold as limited edition collections.WIZE & OPE is an interactive brand that will ask for its members /customers to vote for stories that they want to be developed.
WIZE & OPE develops innovating products based on customization and creative participation of its community members. This community will be entertained by the brand and will be asked to participate in every step of its developement - whether talking about a new product, a guerilla marketing plan, or other activities.
