Heralded Italian pen maker Tibaldi is honored to introduce their newest line of fine writing instruments with long-standing partner in luxury Bentley Motors, the new Continental Collection. New for 2008, the special limited-edition Tibaldi Continental Collection was carefully conceived to respect the striking acclaim Bentley Motors’ cadre of ultra-exclusive Continental vehicles received with the GT, Flying Spur, Convertible GTC, and Speed editions. The Continental tradition began nearly half a century ago when Bentley Motors created the fastest four passenger car of its day, the R-type Continental. So began Bentley Motors storied commitment to unflagging excellence continued most recently with new introductions of sleekly-styled, immaculate Continental autos such as the Bentley Motors GT Coupe, Flying Spur, and exhilarating GTC Convertible. To echo the styling of these extremely desirable vehicles in their newest exclusive pen collection, Tibaldi went to one of the premiere sources of their inspiration, Bentley Motors Interior Designer, Robin Page.



As with all Bentley interiors, Page took the same great care in working alongside Tibaldi to produce the finest writing instrument possible. Each Tibaldi Continental Collection writing instrument is engineered to fit seamlessly into each Continental vehicle. Available in a vibrant array of Bentley Motors colors such as Beluga, Silver Tempest, Cumbrian Green, Silverlake, and Dark Sapphire, each Tibaldi Continental Collection pen barrel and cap boast knurled bands reflecting the design of the switchgear found in their interiors. Rich details such as knurling, a characteristic technique well-known by Bentley enthusiasts, is echoed on areas of the Tibaldi Continental Collection pens requiring holding or turning.



Other such luxurious nuances abound in the Tibaldi Continental Collection, including a delicately engraved retaining clip on the cap prominently featuring the distinct Bentley typeface present in the engine bay. Unique packaging for the pen collection also evokes vehicles’ center armrest while providing an exclusive compartment for Tibaldi Continental Collection pens to be perfectly stowed. As with all Tibaldi pens, each exceptional writing instrument is made from the finest materials available in the world, blending the classical craftsmanship of centuries past with the cutting-edge technologies of today. The Tibaldi Continental Collection consists of fountain, ballpoint, and roller ball pens as well as mechanical pencils, all available at Bentley Motors dealers across the world and fine pen dealers. The collection will be limited to 999 pieces in each of the four respective categories mentioned above.Price for the Tibaldi Continental Collection fountain pen is $2,350 (U.S.).
