Baume & Mercier once again plays with the theme of transparency, applied this year to sublimating the Riviera XXL. The Swiss watch company has successfully risen to the challenge of combining femininity and prestige with the line’s signature twelve-sided design. This high jewelry interpretation of the Riviera XXL magnificently illustrates the very essence of glamour and refinement. In keeping with the spirit of the line, the Riviera XXL High Jewelry Jumping Hour collection maintains the distinctive features of the Riviera XXL. Its double twelve-sided bezel, secured by 4 gem-set screws, is clothed in white gold for the black version, while sapphire crystal highlights the radiance of the gold on the pink and white versions.

Further enhancing the precious and exceptional nature of this timepiece, the opulent shapes of the white gold case are set with 400 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 9.5 carats. The original architecture of the Dubois Dépraz Caliber 14400 mechanical self-winding movement confers great elegance on the dial, particularly through its jumping-hour function. Lit up by the interplay of light and transparency effects, the latter features a subtle blend of frosted sapphire crystal and mother-of-pearl. The crown adorned with baguette- and brilliant- cut diamonds sets the perfect finishing touch. And to make sure the wearer misses nothing of the inner subtleties of this precious timepiece, the movement can be admired through a sapphire crystal case-back. Through this Riviera XXL High Jewelry Jumping Hour collection, Baume & Mercier is once again showcasing the creative talent of its Design Studio, along with watchmaking expertise that has been patiently accumulated throughout its 177-year history.
